Rick has been a litigator since 1998, with a practice entirely devoted to civil litigation on both the defense and plaintiff sides. He began his career representing some of the largest insurers in first-party and third-party claims, as well as specialty insurers for the trucking industry. Much of his insurance practice focused on complex severe personal injury and wrongful death cases resulting from trucking accidents. His experience also includes workers’ compensation, commercial litigation, and construction litigation.
In 2013, Rick established his own practice as a plaintiff attorney, concentrating on representing injured individuals and small businesses with insurance claims. His work includes personal injury cases such as traumatic brain injuries and catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, hurricane damage claims, business interruption claims, and commercial litigation. Rick has litigated cases across the South, including Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, and Florida. He prides himself on building strong client relationships and being a relentless advocate, consistently maximizing recovery for clients while upholding the highest ethical standards.
